Artists are on a journey of understanding their medium to the point of translating the world around them. As a photographer, this is my journey. My journey is Kerouac-ian in nature, often following a stream-of-consciousness. I will often load my gear, pick a direction, and go.
Details are what interest me the most. Details hold the texture, and the texture holds the lore. It is the sense of lore which pulls one into a photograph, causes the viewer to consider the meaning behind this moment of time shot at 1/125 of a second.
